Uracil DNA Glycocasylase(Heat-labile)(HL-UDG)(1U/μL)

Compared with ordinary UDG enzymes, thermosensitive UDG enzymes avoid the degradation of dU containing amplification products by residual activity that may exist after conventional UDG enzyme inactivation at room temperature. This product works at room temperature and is temperature sensitive and easy to inactivate.

Features
  • Eliminate false positive results due to contamination of PCR amplification products

  • High temperature sensitivity, completely inactivated at 50 ℃

  • Active over a wide pH range, with an optimal pH of 8.0

  • High purity, no endonuclease, exonuclease, or RNase residues

Applications
  • Removing aerosol contamination of PCR products containing dU

  • Removing single or double stranded DNA uracil bases

Performance

1. High activity of HL-UDG

Fig: Compared to the blank group, the CT values of Ardent and T, N companies were significantly higher, indicating high activity. However, Ardent' s HL-UDG had a larger CT value and higher activity

2. HL-UDG inactivated normally at 50 ℃

Fig. After being treated at 50 ℃ for 5 minutes, Ardent's HL-UDG was completely deactivated, while N company's HL-UDG was partially deactivated after treatment at 50 ℃, while S company's activity was not affected. This indicates that Ardent's HL-UDG can be completely deactivated at 50 ℃, but N and S companies cannot be completely deactivated
