Usage: Serum tube is mainly used in biochemistry, immunology, and other tests. The tube is developed to meet the storage safety requirement of serum, and the separation gel in the tube is a pure material with stable physical and chemical properties and high temperature resistance to avoid degeneration of the separation gel caused by high temperatures during storage and transportation.

 The gel avoids the interference of metal compounds on specimens and ensures that protein activity is not affected. In addition, the molecular weight of the gel is uniform, which prevents small molecules from freeing to the serum surface and contaminating the serum while blocking the probe channels. 

Limitations: 

1.Patients with abnormal clotting due to disease, or those receiving anticoagulant therapy may require more than 30mins for complete clot formation. 

2.The tubes are not suitable for patients with hypernatremia or hyperproteinemia, which the separation glue shall fail to reverse due to the excessive proportion of serum.
