LbuCas13a was purified from E. coli strain containing the expression gene of Leptotrichia buccalis CRISPR-Cas13a. LbuCas13a is a type VI CRISPR Cas system, which is a RNA mediated Nuclease targeting RNA cleavage. LbuCas13a has high specificity and sensitivity, and can be used to detect individual RNA molecules.
